Oregon Equal Pay Act

The Oregon Equal Pay Act extends pay equity protections to a variety of protected classes and prohibits employers from asking an applicant's salary history. More information can be found on the Oregon State website.

Who does the law apply to?

All employers with one or more employees working in the state of Oregon must comply. The law covers all employees performing work in Oregon.

Our consulting service

We can help your organization determine pay equity. We will conduct a pay equity study for Oregon employees analyzing the protected classes as defined by the Oregon Equal Pay Act. By comparing employees who perform "comparable work" and accounting for pay differences recognized by the law, we will determine differences in pay rates.
