Information Security and Compliance Manager

Cristina joined DCI Consulting at the beginning of August 2021 as the Information Security & Compliance Manager. Cristina annually assesses DCI’s IT architecture and application controls and manages IT compliance activities throughout the year in support of DCI’s SOC 2 certification. This includes engaging with numerous teams across the company to assess IT operational activities, identify areas of significant risk, and implement corrective actions for areas that require improvement. Cristina oversees the safety of DCI’s network, deploying intrusion detection and prevention, monitoring, and endpoint security tools in collaboration with DCI’s IT managed service provider. She also serves as the Data Privacy Officer (DPO) and is responsible for responding to current and potential client questionnaires to attest to the security of DCI’s infrastructure.

Prior to joining DCI, Cristina served in both external and internal audit capacities acquiring knowledge across numerous industries to facilitate and meet compliance standards. Cristina holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Information Systems from North Carolina State University. She also holds a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.
