U.S. House of Representatives Scheduled to Vote July 30, 2007 on Pay Discrimination Legislation

UPDATE: The bill passed on July 31, 2007.

The House of Representatives is reportedly scheduled to vote on “The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2007” on Monday, July 30, 2007. This bill, H.R. 2831, would reverse the Supreme Court’s ruling in the Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. decision. The House Committee on Education and Labor had previously approved the bill on June 27, 2007.
